As a communication network in the 21st century, WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) merges a wide range of information technology that spans sensor, embedded system and wireless communication and has potential and enormous value of its application. The principal advantages of nodes have the characteristics of rapid disposition, self-organization, strong concealment and unattended operation, so the relative variable of node position and non-active of part nodes can not cause destructive influence on the function of systematic unity. These are very suitable for applying in the place where human is quite difficult to or can not arrive. However, since the technologies are not mature enough at the present time, there are a number of problems that remain to be faced for pouring WSN into widely using, such as power limited, communication distance limited and data oblitering.As one of the key problems for researching wireless sensor network at the present time, energy problem concerns two handles such as energy supply and power consumption. On the basis of researching on kinds of power supply methods and the theories of reducing system power consumption, low power consumption strategy has been adopted both in designing of hardware and software. Ultra-low power consumption wireless sensor networks node modules are designed in this paper. In the process of developing nodes, JN5121-Z01-M01 module which has integrated micro controller and RF components by taking advantage of advanced embedded technology, has been used in the development process of WSN nodes. Corresponding sensor interface has been expanded, the connection of ultra-low power consumption quartz tuning fork temperature sensor and humidity sensor SHT11 has been realized. With low cost, low power consumption, self-organization and simply application, IEEE802.15.4/ZigBee protocol has been adopted for wireless communication. Through collecting and reserving solar energy and vibrating energy from environment, the problem of nodes long power supply has been settled, and energy collection has been realized.At the last of this paper, networking and data collecting has been tested for embedded and ultra-low power consumption wireless sensor network nodes by configuring the testing system. The automation detecting of environment temperature and humidity has been achieved, and the communication distance also has been tested. In analysis, the power consumption of wireless sensor network obtain effectively supplement and reducing, the system has the characteristics of small volume, low consumption and stable performance.
