Production management system is one of the main parts of ERP.The sucess of production management system's development has a important influence to the ERP system.UML has abundant contents,powerful functions,abundant methods and tools that can be good used to the oriented to object development.The thesis studies the ummary analysis and design of production management information system based onUML.The thesis firstly takes the multiple varieties and small batches manufacturers as studing object,studies the summary analysis of their production management system, analyzes the need,information flow,and business data processing of the system,and works out the key algorithm in plan control.Based on this,as a example of a axletree manufacturing enterprise in Jiangsu province's design of production management information system.Utilizing UML,the thesis analyzes the realization of the information system in the company from the field of demand and problems,it establishes static,dynamic behaviour models,object view,database models,the component and deployment view,it brings out a comparatively complete designing course of information system.There are two main works and innovations in this paper:1.Summarily analyze the production management information system of multiple varieties and small batches manufacturing enterprises.2.According to the business processing of one axletree manufacturing enterprise,design the development models of its production management system.Based on these models,relative software company developes practical system for the manufacturing enterprise,and it runs well in the manufacturing enterprise.
