The Design And Implementation For The Auto Feeder Of The Flat-Sorter

In the days of Rapid development of modem logistic, as a hard-core production of Logistic Automation, the flat-sorter occupies an important position of China Postal automation. And it can also make sense to saving labor force, increasing efficiency, reducing making mistake and reducing costs.Domestic sorting technology has been applied for many years and has been widely applied in the mail treatment center in many large and medium-sized cities of China. They bear an import task of mail circulation at home and abroad. However, we have to recognize that in the days of rapid development of Postal Automation, the flat-sorter, as an important part of it, faced some big problems which can not be avoid.The auto feeder is an important component of flat-sorter. It directly affects the performance and the efficiency of the flat-sorter. First, the paper analyzed the auto feeder of flat-sorter by setting up a suitable mathematical mode and computer technology in the base of a sorter which has been on stream. The analysis is mainly about the force and the movement. And it gave a project about improving hardware and software of the auto feeder of flat-sorter. In the aspect of hardware, we mainly designed a more reasonable auto feeder, which included portfolio changing, size changing and testing instrument rearranging. It made the follow-up subsystem easier to be control. In the aspect of software, according to this project, the paper also realized the PLC technology. And we used the PLC made by OMRON Company. At last, the paper gave a test and error analysis of the improved auto feeder. The testing result indicated that the improvement of the auto feeder of flat-sorter is better than the former one in the facets of accuracy stability and efficiency. So it proved the accuracy and feasibility of the improvement Project.What is more, the analyzing methods, the testing result and the advices of the labor of the Induction subsystem of Parcel Sorter can offer excellent analyzing methods and analyzing theoretic to the further improvement of the auto feeder of flat-sorter.
