In LIRS system, department administrators report laboratory data through thesystem, the parent department leadership approve laboratory data through the system, ifapproval is not passed, the system will send mail to remind the department administratorfor modify the data required to re-reported, and the report data will enter into approvalprocess.Through the application and realization of OSWorkflow in the system indicated thatOSWorkflow is a lightweight engine. It can be integrated into the J2EE systemframework with minimum cost, in addition，it can control and manage the part or wholebusiness process. It can make the development person pay more attention to businesslogic, so it can make the system with more perfect function and higher developmentefficiency.
