The Design And Implemention Of IPTV Application Server Base On SIP

With modern communication technology developing, the video communication which bined data, voice with video transmission became the hot fashion of communication industry. Research shows that more than 50% of the effective information comes from the visual communication. Providing the information including video content is always the potential force of development of telecommunication.3G initiates a new era for integrating the telecommunication and Internet.IPTV, a more flexible communication method, has its huge influence on the increment of the ISP, ICP and IT service carrier in the future. IPTV has the extremely bright characteristic, may realize the media tender and the media consumer's substantive interaction, it can act according to the user the choice disposition many kinds of multimedia services function, including digital television program, visible IP telephone, DVD/CD broadcast, Internet browsing, receiving and dispatching email as well as many kinds of on-line information consultant, entertainment, education and commercial function.This thesis is derived from "The design and implemention of sip application server" project developed by a communication company. The project implements a sip application server in order to control the synergetic work of the soft switch and IMS. The soft switch is responsible for the voice and the IMS for vedio. In this project, the author is responsible for the design of service logic and database to implement the instant communication.In this thesis, the sip application server is studied. The thesis divides into six chapters: The first chapter briefly introduced the background,the status of knowledge on these aspectds,then introduce the way to put forward the issue. Latter two chapter introduce the concept for SIP,functional entity,protocol format,then illustrate the principle of work. The soft swicht and IMS is studied too, including network configuration of soft switch and IMS,interface protocol. the fourth and fifith chapter introcduce the operational program and preliminary design ,including system architecture,netwok topology,process design,modular design,then elaborate the design of the application server, and introduce the development environment,development tool,design and implement of it's interface. The sixth chapter introduces the deployment of service and test. The last chapter summaryizes the study and work, probes the inadequate place of it and the future work.
