The current development of instant communication software is mainly based on low layer protocols and some communication API, which mainly make use of several open source protocol stack. How to build up our upper layer application based on our communication system from open source protocol, communications API or the third party software quickly is the purpose of research in this paper.This paper first introduces the current development of VOIP, analyses instant communication software's actuality and its faced problems, proposes our purpose of research, then we give a presentation on SIP, SDP, RTP and Microsoft's RTC technique from technology view, after analyzing the basis of a series techniques, we confirm the C/S and B/S developed modes according to applicability and expansibility. The third chapter is an important part, which includes our system analyses and architecture, system modules such as normal communications, login-logon, and audio record function. Finally the last part is main about our sub-modules detail.Our paper's basis is main based on a communication sample with RTC, and the main work of our paper is that we need set up our userinfo-management-server and implement our audio record function's development based on the userinfo-management-server. The first one includes two parts: login and logon modules. Login module in server can decide whether give the endpoint user legal qualification or not according to the register information; Logon module implements users' information management and authentication, provides the latest system notices from server, uploads audio record file to server when logoning successfully. The audio record function provides two main services to users: download-and-play and listen-online. Download service is one typical C/S mode; Listen in online service with B/S development mode from server is accepted by IE browser in Client endpoint. After experiment we have implemented the basic user info management function, audio record upload-and-download and listen online functions, and we have finished our expected purpose.
