This issue research and development on integrated satellite navigation equipment,witchintegrated thefirst-generationof Beidou,the second-generationof BeidouandGPS,withpositioning,communicationsandmeasuringdistancefunctions.Thesystemhardwareplatform is an important component of the radio, supports baseband processor andsoftwareoperatingenvironment.This paper is based on needs and structural characteristics, which choices hardwareand designs related modules, and discusses the author's hardware design ideas and somespecifichardwaredesignfeatures.This paper has introduced the basic principles of satellite positioning and describedthe structure of the radio first. Has compared and analyzed the existing hardwaretechnologies of baseband and processor according to the demands second, compared ofthe FPGA, DSP, ASIC, compared ARM, PowerPC, X86, then decided to use FPGA +ARM. Has designed the hardware structure is based on EP3C120 and S3C2440. Hasdesigned FLASH,SDRAM,RTC, has designed FPGA configuration circuits andSDRAM,FLASH,hasdesignedserialport,USBinterface,FPGA&ARMinterface,LCDinterface,keyscancircuits.Hasanalysisanddesignedthepowersupplyfinally.The article focused on design ideas. Analysis to the digital receiver's structure andfunction leads to a result of hardware implementation technical discussions. Structure ofthehardwareplatform and thedemanddeterminethecoredevices'andperipheral devices'selection. The core devices decide the interface between the FPGAand processor. Powerselectioncriteriaarebasedonthepowerestimates.
