The research is a part of the third son project(No.200708052-03) "search equipment effectiveness evaluation and index method to determine the research" of 2007 earthquake industry fund "the research of needs and key parameters of earthquake rescue technology and equipment ".This project is led by Professor Guoyong , members include Instructor Yuxiaoping, Sunkelin, Zhoumin and Houyuanchao,etc.Nowadays, it is an important problem how to evaluate the effectiveness of the life detecting equipment in the life searching field. Ultra-wideband (UWB) electromagnetic life detector as a kind of new life rescue equipment has a bright prospect of application. The main research emphases of the thesis includes the efficiency analysis of UWB electromagnetic life detector, choosing the exact, reasonable evaluation indicator, builds the relative system of efficiency evaluating indicator, differentiating commonly used the evaluation indicator and key technical parameters, puts forward the method to determine the indicator UWB electromagnetic life detector and choose an evaluating method to reflect the relationship among the main performance indicators synthetically, builds the scientific, reliable evaluation model.It is an attempt of using the combinative method of ADC and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the UWB electromagnetic life detector. In this paper there put forward tow kinds of model that the combine of ADC and AHP, using one of a kind method to build the model of UWB life detector. Through calculating Availability (A), Dependability (D) and Capacity(C), it is to measure the effectiveness of the UWB life detector. An index weight expert questionnaire and a raw index score expert questionnaire are designed about UWB life detector, according to the survey, the C is calculated. The approach degree theory in fuzzy mathematic is used to correct the result. Finally, a practical example demonstrates evaluation methods and steps about the effectiveness evaluation model of UWB life detector, it is demonstrated mainly that single sorting of index, total sorting of index of AHP and correction by fuzzy theory to the assessed results of the model. Results show that the evaluation model is effective and feasible, and these classical evaluation methods have universal and durable reference significances. If we build the effectiveness evaluation index system through analyzing other types of life detector, we can evaluate the effectiveness of the life detector accurately and quickly. This paper presents a method about UWB life detector effectiveness evaluation and index determination, the method is provided in the experiment scheme demonstration, accreditation and stereotypes of UWB life detector, some technique is offered in the development of the countermeasure system and the decision-making in practice. The evaluation is an effective manner to develop UWB life detector, to improve the comprehensive ability of UWB life detector, and to evaluate the UWB life detector comprehensively.
