Product modeling, as an important part of new product development, with the development of computer, integration technology of CAD/CAE/CAM is used in product design. It has become a hot area of research that application of computer-aided in product-design. This subject will use computer-aided design and analysis software to explore the CAD/CAE/CAM integration, considering the features of mechanical and electrical products. It will enhance the automation of design and improve efficiency and quality.On the one hand, this subject, absorbing existed product design, manufacturing, and other aspects of CAD/CAE/CAM research, particularly among the data conversion of computer-aided software and research results of new products; on the other hand, design a small excavator based on product design characteristics, from appearance to the strength and stiffness of the door of the cab, as well as the design,analysis and production of door stamping die assembly, summed up the product design based on CAD/CAE/CAM integration . The main research contents are as follows:(1) Analysis of CAD / CAE / CAM technology and its integrated development, study on Integration patterns of mechanical and electrical products CAD / CAE / CAM;(2)Explore the product distribution generating method based on consumer and design the distribution of an excavator as an example the application of the method ;(3) Using Pro/E, ANSYS software, RP technology comprehensively to explore product design CAD/CAE/CAM integration method, and modeling a small excavator cab doors as an example;(4) Using HTS-300 desktop rapid prototyping mechanism door cab mini excavator stamping die design model, and analysis and evaluation it.
