As one of the four technologies of car manufacturing, stamping is a veryimportant link that manufacturers pay a lot of attention to. DELMIA, Dassault’sinteractive manufacturing application software of the digital enterprise, was applied tothe stamping product field. The model building of the whole product line, simulationand optimization of Tatk time were finished on a uniform three-dimensional platform,data management and Collaborative work solutions were combined closely, soenterprises can use rapid response mechanism to meet the demands of the market,thereby solid benefits were brought to the customers.In this paper, we analyze the3-D modeling, assembly, simulation of tatk time andoptimization of the auto body High-speed stamping product line in the virtualenvironment under DELMTA. The advanced virtual simulation technology is appliedto the stamping product of auto panels. The main research contents include:The software DELMIA is introduced, with the software structure, solutions andfunctions summarized. Feature modeling of the high-speed stamping product lineequipment is accomplished by the use of CAD/CAM modeling technique. Then thetop-down and down-top product design methods are discussed, based on actualdemands, one or both of which can be chosen for the following design of assembles.Then the step and method of motion simulation in the virtual environment of softwareDELMIA is illustrated, the cycle time of high-speed stamping product line issimulated, from the results of which the assemble rationality of production equipment,conformity with actual production, the possibility of collision and interference as wellas rationality of motion trail can be judged. If the simulation result were not in linewith actual production, the design would be optimized. Finally, optimization of Tatktime of high-speed stamping product line is implemented.Through movement simulation of the product process of the high-speed stampingline, the actual situations of all the equipments on the high-speed stamping line aregenuinely reflected, and the production environment is reappeared, thereforeenterprises are provided with straightforward and vivid technology research means,and Technical solutions can be analyzed and modified.
