With the development of economy and society,vocational education is confronting new opportunities and challenges,as well as new requirements. It is a must to command applied computer knowledge and practical skills for the vocational technicians. Computer,as a new scinece, is a unity of knowledge and skill,which is quite practical. So the traditional teaching method,centered with teachers and textbooks,can't satisfy the need of computer teaching and modern intellectals.Especially,the main task of the vocational education is to develop students' practical abilities, which are built up by means of continuous practices. However,some computer practices are destructive to the softwares and hardwares. How to solve this problem is a question.The technology of virtual pc helps to resolve the problem in a degree. With that, we can firstly do virtual practices before the real conducts,which is named a theoretic study-virtual practice-practical conduct teaching model. During the teaching course,students take simulated practices to obtain more chances to make the experienments in the virtual situation and arrive at the expected result finally. This will not only enable students to acquire the operating methods and skills,but also reduce mistakes and damages to the computer. The author tries putting this method into service in teaching and has achieved well. So this dissertation will give it a systematic applied research.
