Web-based Education has gradually lost its power of rapid development after undergoing a large-scale of hardware construction and the resource construction. Web2.0 era brings new motivation to the development of Web-based education. With the characteristics of personality, non-central, opening, interactive, social and so on, Web2.0 fits for the modern education. However, how to integrate the new technical means to reform our learning and support all-round development with the support of modern education concept will become a problem which is needed to study and solve urgently.By the method of literature analysis and case studies, this paper overally thinks applied research of the Web2.0 in education currently, and makes clear the relationship between Web2.0 ideas and Modern Education theory, and sums up the type of application education technology websites, and bring forward refections. Finally, through analysing and comparing specific cases, it gets some conclusions which will provide technical reference for the education technology with the combination of web 2.0 and education in the future.In this paper, chapter 2 summarizes the related concepts, theories and technologies of Web2.0. Chapter 3 carefully summarizes the main form, role and impact of Web2.0 technologies in education, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. Chapter 4 points out the success or failure through analysing comparing the application of Web2.0 technology in the two education websites. Chapter 5 concludes the application methods and notes, and projects the trends and obstacles of Web2.0 in education.Due to the limitation of time, ability and outlay, this paper only has an analysis on the existing Web2.0 educational platform, and does not verify the conclusions by personally using Web2.0 mind and technology to implement education. It is a greatest regret of the paper.
