Design And Implemention Of Fingerprint Identification PDA

With the development of computer technology,embedded system,being the center of interest in the rising research in recent years,has been becoming an important component in this field. PDA(personal digital assistant),as one of the most important products from embedded technology , is becoming better and better with the development of the embedded systems. With the rapid development of embedded Linux PDA applications, use to build its embedded Linux operating system has become the most potential in the development of PDA technology.The fingerprint identification system hardware platform is ARM development board,the system platform is Linux.It combines fingerprint identification module,to provide users with bioinformatics recognition services . The main research and development of task is the PDA hardware and software platform based on ARM and Linux.The CPU of its core module is S3C2410 embedded processer based on ARM920T coer,around it has 64M SDRAM and 64M NAND Flash.This paper mainly makes research on embedded Linux based PDA software system.Aiming at the establishment of software platform of PDA system.this paper introduces the following two parts of contents:the establishment of embedded operating system and the realization of Graphical User Intearfce. The scope of this study covers build of cross-compiler environment,select of the Bootloader, transplant of the Linux kernel and build of the root file system. Finally this paper had a elaborate introduction about the process of fingerprint information collection and the process of fingerprint information comparison.In the civil and military realm the excellent PDA is greatly useful.The research on the PDA technology based on the opened platform has huge worthiness.
