Design And Implementation Of Fingerprint Identification System Based On Embedded Linux

Nowadays,appling biotechnology to daily life has become possible,such as identity authentication.The authentication method of an account with a password is widely used at present,this method is simple and the confidentiality is also high,but it is likely to be stolen by the criminals or cannot complete the authentication because of forgotten the password,mainly because these are external symbols,rather than the unique characteristics of each person's body.In fact,the human body has some different characteristics unique from other individuals,human biometrics is based on these characteristics for identity authentication.In recent years,fingerprint recognition technology has been widely studied and applied.Linux-based embedded systems are characterized by high specificity,high stability,small size and low cost.Therefore,this thesis implements the fingerprint recognition system based on embedded Linux by combining the fingerprint recognition technology and the embedded Linux system.Firstly,the embedded Linux system is summarized,and then the definition and characteristics of the embedded system and the ARM processor and embedded operating system are introduced in detail,which leads to the embedded Linux system and the fingerprint recognition system architecture based on embedded Linux.Then the design of the system hardware platform is introduced in detail,from the choice of embedded processors to the external circuit structures,and ultimately complete the entire system hardware platform design.And then the design of the system software platform is introduced,from bottom to top in turn,the Boot loader adaptation,Linux kernel streamlining and adaptation and building the root file system are finished.Finally,on the basis of hardware and software platform,the design of fingerprint recognition application is completed,and the functions of fingerprint registration,fingerprint authentication and fingerprint punching are realized.
