The WIDOSNet is a bran-new network model which is designed by our team. It is based on optical fiber communication, SDH,SOPC technology, moves the exchanger from the network centre to the consumer, does not need exchanging but choosing. And it uses the concept of on-chip data selection to complete the traditional functions of exchange. Moreover, it also has the flexibility of variable data bandwidth, it is a kind of comprehensive controllable network.Because the network uses the optical fiber as spread medium, high speed programmable system on chip as information processing system, tremendous bandwidth capacity and powerful disposal ability,the application prospect will be very widespread.This thesis is taked up with the study and design of gateway interface of the WIDOSNet, provides a kind of gateway interface for the CAN bus and Ethernet connecting to the WIDOSNet, along with communication between them,ensures transmitting the data pellucidly, realizes conversion between the two different protocols.First of all, the development of domestic and foreign industrial control network is introduced in this paper. On this basis the paper brings forward the WIDOSNet. And introduces the network character and system structure of WIDOSNet particularly. Secondly, discusses the problem of private network traversing and some ways to solve it. Aims at the WIDOSNet, advances the Full Proxy solution for the issue of private network traversing. In the light of design need,gives the system block diagram, and detailedly discusses making use of EDA software Protel DXP to design the system hardware circuit, includes the choose of chips, the circuit diagram, the operating principle of each module.Next, introduces the ARM microprocessor and the principle ofμC/OS-II transplant,Cuts down the real time operating systemμC/OS-II, has finished the process of theμC/OS-II transplanting to the LPC2119 microprocessor.In addition, discusses using the Quartus II develop platform to design some relative modules. Involves bit synchronization, frame synchronization, FIFO, phase locked loop, bidirectional data bus,and so on. As well as the simulation results. At the end of this paper, discusses something need to pay attention in board level debugging. Furthermore, shows the PCB graph of the circuit and material object.The embedded gateway interface is the all-around application of the technology of ARM,μC/OS-II, FPGA and Nios II, that connect the CAN bus and Ethernet seamlessly. And it has a very positive application prospect.
