Analysis And Design Of Short Message Service System In Educational Administration

With the development of collegial information management, universities have built educational administration systems of various kinds in succession. The current educational administrational system brought remarkable benefits to its information management and service, at the same time, administrational departments dropped behind in information release and information interaction because there are little communication between teachers, students and administrational offices. On the other hand, as the communications technology develops and as mobile terminals prevail, SMS—the most convenient data transfer in GSM system—grows rapidly. This paper aims at combining the most advanced mobile communications technology with educational administration system and consequently, working out an efficient realtime method of information release and information exchange for teachers, students and educational administration.For realistic and developing requirement of teaching management work, this paper discussed and researched, developed and practiced the system of educational administration short message service. Short message service will be dealt with in general in the first place, including the introduction to its operation, a comparative analysis on SMS-relevant communication protocols like SMPP and CMPP, which technically paves the way for the subsequent design of SMS. Secondly, the structure and operation procedures of collegial educational administration are discussed in detail, putting forward framework of educational administration SMS. The whole system is divided into four modules, short message management, user management, short message query and short message customization. In addition, the implementation of user registration, short message query and short message customization is elucidated, and how to implement such functions was granted more emphasis. Lastly, through SMS joint interface design and MAS operation analysis, a plan of MAS server docking with mobile service provider is reached.
