Research And Implementation On IPTV Quality Surveillance In Fuzhou Telecom

With the rapid development of internet,IPTV has become a new service which increased the income of Fuzhou Telecom greatly.However,the pressure of internet is growing.Consumers are not satisfied with service quality of IPTV.Fuzhou Telecom faces several problems on IPTV maintence,such as lack of valid quality monitoring and evaluation methods,uneasibility of failure location.The existing IPTV quality surveillance system is not consistent with the requirement of domestic market.Therefore,Fuzhou Telecom desires a solution of surveillance system for IPTV maintence and failure location.The thesis proposes a solution of surveillance system for IPTV service quality to meet the requirement of Fuzhou Telecom.The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. Propose several network solutions for IPTV at different stages.2. Establish a model of service quality on IPTV and give the key quality indicators to analyse.3. Research the implementation of a distributed IPTV quality surveillance system and study the key technologies.4. Design a mechanism of recurrence for fault video stream.It records the time when each video packet arrives at the predefined test point,and adds the timestamp and then put it into database.The realtime play is implemented by sending the fault video packet to the player.The effectiveness of the mechanism is verified through experiment.
