With the digital, networked, global integration era's coming, the sharing and rational configuration of information resources are focused by the world more and more frequently. Owing to the long-term of extensive and unreasonable management, the resources wasting phenomenon was familiar in each department of our country. There are large scientific instruments which were bought in high price rarely used in usual. As the time passed, the value of these equipments was reduced. In order to enhance the utilization ratio of the large scientific instruments, actualize sharing the data of equipments, resolve the problem that different department bought the same high-priced instruments; it is significant and necessary to design a sharing platform of large scientific equipments.This thesis firstly advanced the sense of this platform and discussed the research status in domestic and overseas as well. The thesis which described an outline and analyzed the requirement and function of the sharing platform of large scientific equipments advanced network architecture of the whole system. Based on the actual network conditions, it designed sets of patterns to transfer data. The B/S architecture was used for users to manipulate and monitor the whole system.Upon completion of the entire system architecture and communication protocols, the thesis explained building the development environment in Linux system, developed the program in server. The server was consists of four parts: control module, sampling module, communication module and database module. Papers on the basis of studying the characteristics, requirements and implementation in detail completed the design and verified the procedures. In practice the result of the papers achieved the expected goals.The innovation of this thesis was to adapt to the special needs of the large scientific instruments by improving the existing network environment. Via using network to transfer data, database to storage, internet browsers can be used for people to get the details of the entire system.The productions of this thesis are used in the sharing platform of large scientific equipments. After actual testing, the indicators are to meet the design requirements to achieve the desired function.
