The Research Of Mobile Phone Railway Ticket Reservation Systerm Based On WAP2.0

Along with the fast development of national economy and the great improvement of living level of the people, the development of TRS Presents many new characters and requirements. In order to reduce the pressure of ticket selling of the railway department, not only continuously improved by itself, but also railway department outspreads the extended service of TRS. TRS hope to provide railway passengers more ticket reservation methods, a diversified TRS can be realized and make the convenient for passenger to buy tickets. Diversification of TRS need to modern technology. With the combination of digital technology and Network, mobile phone has been used not only as communication tool, but also as mobile browser to visit Internet easily by Wireless Application Protocol. It can be achieved that providing information "anytime" and "anyway".Based on the background mentioned above, this paper put forward and researched a mobile phone railway ticket reservation system based on WAP2.0 by use of eclipse,JSP,XHTML and Tomcat6.0 service. The aim of this system is that passenger can buy tickets more conveniently and get ticket information "anytime" and "anyway". This system provide function as follow: query train timetable, query surplus information of ticket and book ticket.This paper firstly introduces the research background and significance, research and development status of TRS , and the related theories and technologies of WAP2.0. Secondly, analyze this system and show its structure model. In view of the specificity of mobile phone browser, design rules of function model are made detailed analysis. Finally, running result of the system tested by mobile telephone emulator and the future research work is given.
