Research Of M-learning Supporting System Based On Mobile Phone

Technology is changing our life style and study style. In 1946, when the first computer was born, no one would have imaged this huge guy could change all things of human being after several decades! Today, a Mobile Phone with unlimited potential just like a stock with good developing prospects, will bring a learning revolution.The impact of Mobile Phone is quietly changing our lives, work and study. Especially, WAP 2.0 (Wireless Application Protocol) makes Mobile Phone with might doubled, the potential of the Internet and Mobile two-way interaction is unlimited. Its enormous potential and revolutionary significance is far from being fully realized. WAP has giving Mobile Phone learning a pleasant surprise and a new idea. Mobile phone-based study style will give WAP network a miracle beyond most people's imagination! Future life will be a wireless world. WAP will be a part of the life of the younger generation. Mobile phones will change the way of our lives even the times. A learning revolution is coming.How will the Mobile Phone change our life, work and learning style? How is the Human learning opening up a new path? How are we going to use the huge number of Mobile media resources in learning and education for human being? Since WAP2.0 makes the potential of the Internet unlimited. How can we effectively develop a platform of WAP2.0 resources to support the Mobile Phone based learning activities? Based on the above issues of this paper, from the view of practice, through research, comparison the theory of study based on Mobile Phone, the author proposes that the establishment of WAP2.0 learning support network platform based on the Mobile Phone is the best way to learn and the trend to apply. As the core of this research work, the author design and develop a Mobile Phone WAP2.0 learning support system as a network platform and finally hope for providing recommendations and information with the in-depth follow-up study .In these lifeful and hopeful new research fields, the author have enthusiastically engaged in a project named Mobile Phone-based Mobile Learning Supporting System, which is a part of a project named Mobile Medium Learning Supporting System based on 802.11 Wireless Network supported by postdoctoral research plan of Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai.In the end, the author analyzes the contributions and shortcomings of the paper, then give the expectation of the research.
