To satisfy the need of developing ballistic missile weapon system, the Demonstrate and Evaluation Software System of Ballistic Missile (DESSBM) is necessary for high-level, systematic and integrative research. We need to find a convenient, accuracy and efficiency method of missile simulation in order to realize the aims of scientific nature, accuracy and efficiency. This thesis analyzes advanced system modeling and simulation technology and builds a simulation model library of the ballistic missile based on Modelica and Dymola. The usage of model library can realize graphic modeling and simulation. The main jobs of this thesis are as follows:1. The function, structure and signal of control system are analyzed, and the system is divided into several hierarchies and modules according to modularizing and modeling rule. Adopting the dynamic model of ballistic missile, the mathematic models of control system's modules are set up concentrating reusable.2. By using the non-causal and object-oriented characters of Modelica, the simulation model library of the ballistic missile is set up basing on Dymola. Control system model library has four sub-libraries, they are measure devices, navigation arithmetic, guidance arithmetic and attitude control devices. They have general meanings and the simulation model can be presented based on these models.3. The six degree of freedom simulation model of passive flight phase is built using the model library. The result shows that the guidance scheme is suitable to meet the requirements of accuracy. Meanwhile, it validates the practicability and accuracy of the model library.4. A new iterative guidance method is present. The pitch angle control process is divided into two sections, which correct two positions separately. This scheme realizes the control for six state components of the missile. The improving of method also improves the accuracy of guidance of missiles, and this result proves again the efficiency of modeling and analysis based on the model library.This thesis realizes the integration and application of the simulation model library of the ballistic missile. The modules aim to be built generally so that can be used directly to mathematic simulation of other models. This thesis has a practical significance and applies perspective to general modeling of missile system, and also provides helpful research for modeling and simulation of missile system by Modelica.
