With the advent of the era of information technology, manufacturing as one of the most basic industry of the country, its production capacity is gradually improving. Job shop, which as a basic part of the production, is a comprehensive combination of control, implementation and management. In the current era of rapid development, the combination between the capacity of a single machine and the management in the job shop will directly and massively affect the development of the industry.Job shop management can be divided into three layers, from top to bottom there are: the top order oriented program management, middle layer for the execution oriented production scheduling management and the underlying control oriented production site management. Manufacturing Execution System(MES) is in the middle layer, which is based on the job shop scheduling and the real-time data for support, consisting of mixed cooperative sub-system. This paper starts from the current status of MES development and the technical difficulties, analyzes the key technologies, put forward the corresponding solutions, and design and develop a MES software.Based on the description of the job shop scheduling problem, we point out that the difficulty of the problem. Concerned about the difficult problem of mathematical modeling, we try to design a flexible mathematical model with good adaptability. In order to solve the job shop scheduling problem, we divide it into two steps. First of all, this paper studies the existing algorithm to solve the job shop scheduling problem, analysis the design ideas of the algorithm, and try on a particle swarm optimization algorithm to change the move closer and mutation mechanism which improve the effect of the algorithm. Secondly, based on the analysis of ideal of the genetic algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm design, we put forward an algorithm which local search and global search are executed simultaneously, to solve the job shop scheduling problem.Based on the research of the scheduling algorithm, this paper designs and implements a MES, which is mainly composed of job shop production scheduling subsystem, data acquisition subsystem, management subsystem and the structure of tool edit simulation subsystem. This paper mainly from studies in the system function, hardware and software architecture and operation flow of the system.
