Single Channel Mono-pulse(SCM) is widely used in many target detection and tracking applications, such as in communication, remote sensing and detection, target detection in deep space. It can provide the tracking precision we need. SCM system demands no isolation between the sum channel and difference channel. What is more important is that it can spare two difference channels, and then lower the cost, but with higher reliability.An experimental digital homing in receiving system has been completed according the contract. All theoretic problems adopt by this system has been investigated in detail. The applications of phase lock loop and synchronized demodulation of SCM as well as distributed polarization synthetic method in this experimental system. The implementation scheme is proposed. The main functional modules include Digital down converter, filter loop, bearing deviation demodulation as well as AGC controller, which are achieved by FPGA. Finally, all hard wares in this SCM system are illustrated.
