GPS Software Receiver Research

This paper researched a realization method of GPS receiver basing on software radio theory. The emphasis of this research is that overall the receiver is realized in DSP by pure software method which can efficiently save hardware resource and carry out easier and more flexibly.In the body of this paper, we expatiated on the acquire method of GPS signal and analyzed the speciality of acquire. In the process of designing tracking and demodulation loop, we analysed tracking error in particular and gave some methods how to improve tracking precision. And in this paper, we also tell the software process of the GPS receiver in DSP and analyze experiment data.In conclusion, this paper gave a new method of realizing GPS receiver. and this method can be expanded to the other spread spectrum fields which have good developing expectation.
