Design And Implementation Of Computer Lab Management System Based On C/S And B/S

With the enlargement of universities' enrollment,each builds large-scaled computer rooms,and there are more and more computer-based courses as the spread of information education.As a result,computer burdens more.Therefore,it is necessary to have an automated computer management instead of people-based one.Nowadays,some problems exist in the management system for computer lab.For instance,users on computer cannot be registered;students' records cannot be kept; students' consumption,curriculum cannot be inquired from the internet;and financial conductor cannot check and count the computer rooms' income,they cannot administrate the students' own expense,which cannot meet the standard of school's financial rule.What is more,some management system adopts the mode of combination of soft and hard wares,which spends too much money and brings inconvenience for the system protection;some assumes the mode of c/s,which is also inconvenient for both the users and administrators.To solve this problem,the author develops a management system for computer lab.The system is consisted of student port,management port and web port.It can fulfill the function of account management,computer management,lecturer and course management,timetable management,reservation for classes,charging automatization and the detailed checking.First of all,the thesis carries out the analysis of requirement.It uses the mixing structure of C/S,B/S and designs every function module of its developed system. Meanwhile,it recurs to the NET platform of VisualStudio 2005.And also C# language,technology of ASP.NET and ADO.NET Database are applied to fulfill the system's main functions.In its half-year application,the system receives fine respond and it definitely improves the efficiency of computer room management.In the end,the thesis summarizes its main task in the process of system development and describes its further reseach.
