The spirit of the Chinese nation is the internal driving force of the progress and development of the Chinese nation, the condensation, transformation and sublimation of the essence of the spirit of Chinese culture. Television is a medium for the spread of information, and the mainbody of the cultural creation as well. In the inheritance of information, television has created a rich and colorful television culture, affecting people's moral and ethical values. Therefore, how to contribute to disseminating and fostering the spirit of the Chinese nation is one of the issues of the important theory and practice for building television culture.The TV show, a Reality TV show program, popular in China in recent years, is confronted with many problems in its development. As a public television entertainment program, the TV show program, which should be sustainable, is supposed to take the responsibility of passing on culture. This thesis aims to make a close study on 'China Red Song Show '. Based upon the analysis of the elements of the program, the establishment of television culture, and the effect of the inheritance, it is summarized that the avenue to the success of China Red Song Show is that the program adheres to the media's mission of passing on culture, closely combines the entertainment of the TV show with the theme of the television programs, and stimulates and carries forward the national ethos. In this thesis, how 'China Red Song Show' passes on the national ethos by building television culture is interpreted in such perspectives as the national value of the television culture, the function of orientation, the integration of multi-structure and the dominant culture. Finally the enlightenment of the reality TV show is explained with Rogers 'Diffusion of Innovations Theory' and the cultural responsibility of television media is strengthened in the viewpoint of green audience ratings. However, in the innovation and development of 'China Red Song Show', there are some problems, for which some suggestion and strategy have been made.
