The Design And Realization Of Teaching-Experiment Assistant System For Computer Graphics

Computer graphics is a required course for computer specialty, how to teach well this course has been being much accounted for many years. With the development of science and technology, multimedia network teaching is penetrating into all the fields of education, which provides opportunity for the teaching method innovation of all the courses.The teaching-experiment assistant system of computer graphics is a new facility based on multimedia network. It reforms the traditional teaching ways, inspires the students'enthusiasm of participating in the teaching courses, so the efficiency of teaching can be greatly improved.This system is belonged to CAI on the partition of applied field, from the view of programming language, it is an application of data-base based on WEB. Meanwhile, for the facility of management, the system is compartmentalized into subsystems of teacher and student, by the function modules of course studying, dummy experiment, tutorial reply, online test and so on, aids up the theory teaching and experiment teaching of CG.This paper studies and summarizes the actuality of teaching experiment assistant system in the nearly years by the numbers. Based on the network, systematization and utility's technical analysis and summarization of computer graphics course, it designs the web site as a whole with the designing idea of B/S mode. This system chooses Microsoft Access as background data base, chooses application DreamweaverMX2004 as exploder software for the web site, chooses the technology of ASP to create dynamic alternation web pages and chooses the flash program to demonstrate the experiment principle, chooses JavaApplet program to simulate every course of the experiment, so that the student can have a more visual realization of experiment principle and process without the limit of dimension. The dummy experiment is a useful supplement of experiment teaching.This system has the specialty of friendly operational interface, utility design function, convenient management and so on, which provides a garden plot for the students on the network to research freely and study cooperatively. It also provides a new way to the teaching method improvement of Computer Graphics from now on.
