Teaching reforms focus on enhancing students'operation abilities and highlighting students' practical abilities. There is no exception in Sichuan Normal University Chengdu College. In the teaching process of experimental teaching section in the college experimental center, quality and performance of teaching is particularly important, which implies that better management is badly needed. The purpose of this thesis is to allow students to finish the experiment assignments with desired quality and quantity. A laboratory teaching aiding system is designed in the thesis. With the help of the system, students can hand in experiment assignment, download teaching materials, and raise questions, as well as teacher's answering questions, etc. The system is based on computer network platform, and changes the traditional experimental approaches. As a result, quality of experimental teaching is improved, students are satisfied, along with stuff of experiment who are in charge of experiment teaching and management. What's more, the system has a very positive impact on practice teaching, and it is of implementing and developing value.Author of the thesis is a teacher who has worked in the central experiment laboratory of Sichuan Normal University Chengdu College for four years. He has rich experience in experiment teaching and management. And he has in-depth understanding of experiment teaching methods and processes. Following are some problems he has found in experiment teaching.1. Teachers are uncertain about the contents involved in every period of experiment teaching.2. Teachers cannot promptly instruct the students who have doubts for what they have learned.3. Some students can not hand in experimental report with standard content and format.4. It's inconvenient for teachers to calculate students'final scores. And sometimes the scores are nor accurate.The thesis researches the problems mentioned above, and design a teaching aids laboratory management system based on BROWSER/SERVER mode. The system focuses on the practical application, and uses software engineering principles and information systems development and management as basic methods and ideas. JSP and SQL database technology, the mainstream developing technology at present, is also adopted to design and develop the system.The thesis mainly talks about design of the teaching aids laboratory management system. It first introduces requirement analysis. Functions of the system, feasibility study of the system and functions of subsystems are analyzed. Then it gives outline of the system as well as the specification for the design. For the outline of the system part, it includes the design of system flow and system module. As for specification for the design, it completes the establishment of system database and its implementation, as well as realization of functional blocks. Finally it summarizes and analyzes the system. It points out disadvantages of the system and improvement for future design which may provide a reference and help for designing similar system.The most important advantages of the system are as follows. First, it makes use of methods of upload and download, guarantees the release and access to experimental subjects, and solves the problem of subjects which are not released in time. Second, with the help of messages and instant communication it solves the network communication difficulties during experiment teaching and improves the quality of experiment teaching. Third, it counts experiment scores based on background data analysis and provide a basis for final scores at the end of each semester. |
