The paper study the way of optimizing PID controller parameters.PID controller is the most primary control strategy in thermal control system.and it directly influence safe and economical of units.Genetic Algorithm perform efficient and heuristic search,not blindfold and completely stochastic searching.How to get the model and their characteristics are discussed of thermal control system in the article.it optimize PID controller parameters of single-circuit.cascude-control circuit.boiler-turbine coordinated control system of thermal control system.The results show that using genetic algorithm to optimize PID parameters of controller can gain satisfing effect.and gives the possibility and the practicability of optimized PID controller parameters with Genetic Algorithm in the end.
