In this paper, parallel idea is introduced into Genetic Algorithms, and coding, adaptive function, crossover and mutate operator are improved, we designed a numerical value fuzzy controller based on Pseudo-Parallel Genetic Algorithms. This parallel method can restrain the appearance of premature convergence of GA and improve optimizing efficiency. We also can consider optimizing on line if we have local area network or parallel computer. At the end of the thesis, this method is applied to ball mill coal-pulverizing control system. The results of simulations show that fuzzy controller optimized by this method has good controlling quality, strong robustness and interference reducing, so the optimum purpose is carried out.Shi Donglin (Control Theory and Control Engineering) Directed by Associate Prof. Sun Jianping...
