| There's a long time that only announce good news but no bad news on Chinese media, it's seems to be everyone was well-pleasing, but the practice proved that negative news not only should be but muse be reported. On the base of research on negative news report before, this paper analyze the definition, positive function, indispensability and the problem of negative news report in contemporary era after the Chinese Reforming and Opening. Negative news is very appalling and abnormal, though it may bring some negative affect, it also can bring into play positive function. After the Reforming and Opening, the political condition of China became loose. The limit of negative news gradually decreased, more and more negative news appeared on news media, but the problems must be paid attention. In the process of reporting negative news, journalist must give prominence to humanism. |
