The Research Of Fourth Dimension Building Information Modeling

There are many problems in architecture industry,such as information missing and information inexact.Along with computer used in every industry in the world,the tradition architecture industry also imminently needs innovation and new technology.In this background,Building Information Modeling(BIM) emerges as the times require.It is like a huge data-base which uses computer technology to collect all the information during the Building Lifecycle Management.The research of BIM just begins in our country.The main research of this thesis is fourth dimension building information modeling.The main research of BIM and 4D are all introduced and summarized in the thesis.In the aspect of information integration and construction need,the feasibility design of fourth dimension building information modeling is shown.The structure and main module of the fourth dimension visual construction schedule management system are all designed.The system is exploited based on the data format of DWF.It can achieve the virtual construction of building and the visual management of construction schedule.The system not only can be used in theory, but also can apply in the real project.It is very useful and economical.
