Possessing the strong ability of anti-jamming,anti-fading,anti-interception as well as the application of multiple access,Frequency Hopping(FH)communication not only has been widely applied in the military communication,with the purpose of ensuring the army to build reliable communication under adverse electromagnetic surroundings, but also has been widely applied in civilian mobile communication.As a kind of spread spectrum communication system,frequency hopping(FH) communication has been a mature technology.The radio based on Frequency Hopping has been widely applied in the military communication.However,the conventional frequency hopping radios are all designed for the analog or digital speech transmission. Modern war,which relies on the electronic war and information war more and more, has make it becomes exigent for the military communication to improve its ability of anti-jamming and capacity of data transmission.The frequency hopping data communication is a good means to match this request.Under this background,the thesis researchs and realizes one of key techniques i.e.synchronization related with this communication system.The synchronization is the most important problem in the FH communication system.The thesis tries to seek the most appropriate synchronization scheme for FH data communication through comparing and optimizing the traditional synchronization means employed by FH speech communication system.Then a kind of FH synchronization scheme,i.e.synchronization words,is proposed which has a series of unique merits such as supporting high hopping speed and outperforms over any of the traditional FH synchronization schemes.To design reasonable and feasible synchronization plan,the thesis introduces frame structure and time scheduling according to system demands and analyzes the course of baseband data flow.Then it designs and completes module of baseband signal processing and control circuit for FH communication system.Through the capability analysis and measurements on module and circuit,the synchronization project can reach the scheduled targets.The results of simulation prove the validity of the design.It is also significant to practice.
