Design And Implementation Of Instrument Product Development Management System

With the rapid development of information technology and electronic technology, the competition in the instrument market has become increasingly intense. Product quality, product development cycle and market release cycle have drawn more and more attention from all product developers. All enterprises are striving to develop products in the shortest time to meet customer demand in terms of function and performance and release them to the market in the shortest possible time. Under such circumstances, it has become the focus of all enterprises to establish a suitable process of instrument product development. The process is supposed to shorten product development cycle while ensure product function and performance.This paper is based on Chongqing's key science and technology project "Research on Embedded Software Development Platform Oriented at Intelligent Instrument and its Supporting Environment" and the key project "Embedded System Development Platform for Industrial Automation Instrument". The latter is taken as Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission's 2007 major special subject. This paper, based on the analysis of characteristics and common applications of project management, CMM, ISO9000 and other relevant theories fully researched the status of product development model, proposed to establish a task-driven process-based project management system for instrument development department to realize the control of development process. In order to achieve this goal, the enterprises should have a matching and applicable development management process and standardized documentation specifications. According to this guideline, this paper made an analysis of the aim and methods of project management system of instrument development department.This paper at last introduced the design and business demand analysis of the functions of instrument enterprise's product development project management system. It mainly identified the objective and designed principle of the system, and made a clear definition of the core functions and multi-level structure of the system. Besides, it proposed solutions to the system, devised the system architecture, task and database etc., and put forward the main realization program at all levels. Finally, this paper conducted the system development and realization and elaborated the system realization methods from the system process, user/authorization management, role and task-based dynamic access control model, and security access and other perspectives.Through the design and realization of product development project management system, the paper achieved the following objectives: the informationization and management automation of instrument enterprise development process; real-time data acquisition, presentation and analysis of development process, strongly supporting the organization's control, management and decision-making in product development projects; solidification of instrument product development process, standardizing and harmonizing the knowledge of instrument development management organizations and providing scientific view for change in organizational process and capacity. With these objectives realized, the work to improve knowledge management and development process gets to step up to the quantized level. The idea of paperless office of instrument development project management finally comes true.
