The Design And Implementation Of AAA System Performance Testing Framework Based On LoadRunner

With the rapid development of economy, information technology is receiving increasing attention to all industry. Software companies as providers of information technology, the size and complexity of theirs software are increasing continuously, the new release of a software comes out frequently. The traditional manual testing methods have been unable to fully meet the needs of system testing. The simple automated test by recording and playback although can get quick results in a short-term, but in the long run, this approach is not conducive to the maintenance of automated test script and follow-up costs are too high. Therefore, there is a need for specific characteristics of the system to develop an automated testing framework, carry out software testing based on the automated testing framework for improving the reusability and maintainability of test scripts.This article reflects the good software engineering ideology. It starts with the current situation of software testing industry, introduces the characteristics of the automated testing and the background of this project. Then, it introduces the software requirements and software architecture of the AAA system performance testing framework, as well as the concrete realization methods of each module. Finally, it uses the truly test results to show that the effects of testing framework.The author analysis and study the inadequacies of current performance testing framework in the enterprise based on the successful experiences, carry out a complete AAA system performance testing program, and apply it to practical work. This article discusses about the design and realization of the pressure occurred module, radius protocol module, log module, statistics module, and show the results of the performance test program by using practical application. At the same time, this the article introduce the definition of test scenarios, execution, results output, analysis of results. It also makes a standard of scenarios implementation, in order to make this framework be easier to implement, easier to manage.The design idea of the AAA system performance testing framework is for pursue the purpose of improving the test script maintenance, saving maintenance costs and improving ease of testing products. Taken as a result of the testing framework of the hierarchical design, scalability is also greatly enhanced. It has laid a good foundation for building other systems performance testing frameworks.
