Study And Design Of Performace Test System On High-Performance Fault-Tolerant Computer Based On LoadRunner

At present, in the key industries related to national security and national economy, such as finance, telecommunications, energy, civil aviation, the high-performance fault-tolerant computer has been monopolized by foreign manufacturers. The self-developed high-performance fault-tolerant computer has a important significance for the protection of China's information security, and it's very important for the improvment of the independently design and the core competitiveness. Its high-performance and fault-tolerant capabilities in transaction processing need to be assessed and verified, so the performance test of the system is necessary before useing. The load test is an essential method of the performance test, and it is a necessary precondition for the reliability test.This subject comes from"The High-performance Fault-tolerant Computer's Assessment and Measurement"which is the subsidiary subject of"High-performance Fault-tolerant Computer"."High-performance Fault-tolerant Computer"is a 863 major project. This article has designed and implemented load simulation system based on LoadRunner, which mainly used for high-performance fault-tolerant computer's test. In specific development process, we borrowed the test system database instance and basic affairs type in TPC-E benchmark specification To shorten development cycle.This article analyzed the transaction processing model and the transaction functions in the TPC-E specification,then,combined with LoadRunner's feature , the load simulation system based based on C / S structure has been designed and implemented,the study on which client-side includes creating and configurating LoadRunner evaluation environment, developing test scripts, designing test scenarios and scheduling and controlling each test, on the other part,the study includes the implemation of each transaction frame ,which is in the form of Oracle stored procedure and the realization of each transaction which mainly depends on pacakaging corresponding transaction frames. In addition,we have implemented the under-tested server performance monitoring module. Finally, we used this load simulation system to test some high-performace computer ,then analyzed results and submited performance evaluation reports.we also added the fault injection techniques to the load testing,trying to verify its effect and get the fault-tolerant performace of the under-test computer,too.
