Design And Implementation Of EPG System Performance Test And Scheme Based On Loadrunner

As the EPG(Electronic Program Guide,EPG)the use of the system is more and more widely,more and more important to its performance requirement,using the automated testing tool can quickly find the EPG system software and hardware bottleneck,effectively shorten the system test,optimizing and release cycle,improve software development efficiency and quality.So research how to effectively improve and optimize the performance of EPG system is advanced is an urgent need to solve the problems,performance is the key to the further development of EPG system problems,EPG system performance testing research at present stage there are two main difficulties,on the one hand is the system of data processing integrity,robustness,performance,stability,accuracy,etc.,on the other hand is a multi-user and EPG system when using server-side page response performance.Based on this,in complex EPG system performance test,the present situation of the user load simulation more difficult,through the Loadrunner to existing EPG system in real-time,stability and fault-tolerance design,etc.The author's main work is as follows:(1)study of the theory of software testing,this thesis analyzes the EPG system performance test of the specific process,in-depth analysis of the current mainstream industry standard load test tool Loadrunner;(2)Using the automated testing tool to test the performance of the EPG system,and analyze the test results to find out the key factors that affect the performance of the EPG system,and propose an optimization scheme to optimize the front page of the system and MySQL.To verify the reliability of the optimization scheme.(3)Finally,designed a performance testing scheme based on Loadrunner for EPG system and implemented in EPG system,which provides an example for the performance testing of subsequent EPG system.Through to the EPG system performance test and the study of optimization method,the EPG system performance using Loadrunner to solve the problem,provides Web application performance test of the set top box with effective testing and optimization method.The research innovation point is to design an EPG system test program in the overall performance,and through the actual project to verify the effectiveness of the test program to achieve the original goal of the thesis.
