Study And Design Of Mobile Learning System Based On SCORM

Mobile learning is the distance learning new method, is the product of wireless communication networking and mobile computation technology. Mobile learning is a new means of e-learning. It broke through the limit of traditional learning means on time and space, and it makes it possible to learn at anywhere and anytime. In order for mobile learning can be standardized and orderly development, we have introduced the Sharable Content Object Reference Model(SCORM) standard which was formulated by the ADL plan in this paper. This standard can solve many problems in the mobile learning domain. For example, the shared Web resources and the interoperability of resources are not ideal enough, most learning systems are incompatible with others and so on .This paper first details of the concept of mobile learning, as well as the basic norms of SCORM content. Based on the characteristics of standardized mobile education system. This thesis puts forward a framework for mobile education system based on SCORM, and described the platform design. This article is a useful exploration to standardized system for mobile learning .In the system, client and server-side are used JAVA technology. This system can be easily deployed in different platform.
