Research Of Developing Web Course Based On The SCORM Standard

At present our country is in the process of education informationization and the online education is developing fast.Educational resource is the base of the online education,and the network course is one of the most important educational resources, which influences the level of the education informationization and the quality of the online education directly.But many problems still exist in the network courses of now times,a lot of courses are based on the static pages,which can't realize individual study, and are hard to use the instructional strategies.In additional,the shareable and the portability of these courses are bad.So developing high-quality network courses becomes an urgent subject in the construction of resources.Developing network courses on the standards of network educational resources can solve the problems described above effectively.SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is one of the most authoritative standards at present,which is been used wildly.This paper designs and develops an online course according to the standard of SCORM 2004 on the base of reading many papers,and the course has a good reusability and portability.Firstly the paper summarizes the theory of the network courses and introduces the standard system of SCORM 2004 in details,and introduces the technology of XML simply.Then analyzes the theory of learning objects,take the course of "C language programs design" as the example,analyzes the steps of the course developing based on the SCORM standards,including the analyzing of the course structure and the designing of the course content,in the part of the course content designing analyzes the designing of the course order emphatically.At last takes the forth chapter of "C language programs design"-"the choosing structure programs design" as the example,develops the online course by using the Reload Editor software,tests the course package by using the SCORM Sample Run-Time Environment software,verifies the validity of the course, and uses the course simply in the Moodle learning manage system by importing into it.The online course developed in my research accords with the SCORM standard, which has a better portability and can be shared between the platforms support the SCORM standard.The network course is developing by the way of modules on the base of learning objects theories,which makes the course easy to share,and the learners can realize simply individual study according to their learning levels.
