Laser marking is one of the most advanced technology, which is used for marking industrial products at present in the world. And it has been an effective method for industrial product mark. Laser marking machine is an integration of machinery with electronics equipment , which integrates many techniques referring to laser, optics, computer and exact-machine. It is composed of laser device, optics system and controller mainly. The PCI Local Bus is one kind of high performance, 32—bit or 64—bit bus with multiplexed address and data lines. It is good at high-capacity and high-speed, which ISA has no way to come true . The design combined the laser marking technology with PCI Local Bus in a laser marker controller card, which plays an important role in a computer controlled laser marker system.Careful analysis of laser marking machine working principle, based on the PCI bus-based laser marking control card in-depth research, and designed a PCI bus-based laser marking control card. In this paper, PCI9052 direct data transmission mode, the completion of data transmission. At the same time, the control chip MCX312, the use of counter 8254 to be discussed. And give the driver of the preparation method.
