According to the development of digital audio/video technology and the application of high definition signal, the quality of digital audio/video signal transmitted by analog interface chip is weaker and weaker in evidence. The excellences of HDMI compared with analog interface chip appear, more and more HDMI are applied.This paper describes the characters and advantages of HDMI, analyzes the basic structure of HDMI and the function of each module. And it researches the theory of high speed data transmission. This paper researches arithmetic of TMDS logic channel, and gives the technique of designing the module deeply. High speed dada channel includes three modules which are data capture module, TMDS encoder and decoder. It is core logic of HDMI high speed transmission and keystone of HDMI performance. So timing is verified carefully in this paper. The module was systemic verified, from the bottom module to the top module, and from the function to the timing of each module. And it was verified in FPGA. The function of the design is good after testing which has been taped out. |
