Research On The Historical Materials Of Song Dynasty Quoted In Qunshu Kaosuo

The book Qunshu Kaosuo(research and quest on books of all sorts《群晝考索》) has always been regarded as an important general cyclopedia compiled in the dynasty of the Southern Song.The abundant materials it quoted and kept,especially the large number of literature of the Song dynasty it cited were very useful for people to collate and collect the materials that had been lost.So it has much importance for researchers to study the history of the Song dynasty.Regretfully,there was little systemic study on this lot of materials until now.The writer of this paper will do some works to lay the foundation for more researches,such as,classify and summarize the whole situation of the literature that this book quoted,choose the historical materials of the Song dynasty in it,and expound their documentary values.The exordium of this paper reviewed the achievements of the previous researches and defined the research scope of this paper.The first chapter verified the editions,compiling process and spread conditions,and dug up the situation of the Song Dynasty block printed edition and its historical entries,so that it could provide some new clue to study the documental conditions of the one hundred-volume Song Dynasty block printed edition.Zhang Ruyu has been thought as the one who compiled the book Qunshu Kaosuo all along.But researchers found that when the Peng Yuanrui compiled the sequel of the book Tianlulinlang Shumu(the catalogue of the Tianlulinlang Library which collected rare and uncommon works《天祿琳琅晝目》) the separate collection of Qunshu Kaosuo had a supplement that signed Wenling Lv Zhong(a person named Lv Zhong lived in Wenling).This paper serviced to the analysis of the relations among the one hundred-volume edition,Lv Zhong's supplemental edition and the current two hundred and twelve-volume edition of Qunshu Kaosuo,because the author dug up the condition that Qunshu Kaosuo had been supplemented after Zhang Ruyu in the end of the dynasty of the Southern Song by using many documental materials.The second chapter researched the structure and token of the quoted literature,it did some good to distinguish the direct quotes and the indirect. This chapter used two sections to summarize the whole condition of the quoted materials and choose part of the important documents outside the research scope to demonstrate.The third chapter classified the entire historical documents of Song dynasty and laid heavy stress on the research of some parts of them,then suggested ideas to study further all different sorts of materials. The last part pointed out some deficiency of my paper and the wayⅠwould work in.
