Research And Design Of Digital Right Management System Based On Digital Right Expression Language Standard

With the rapid popularization of Internet and other communication network, the requirement of digital recourses become more and more pressing, which directly brings the industry of digital media service. As lots of digital resources are used today, this problem becomes more and more outstanding. This causes the result that the right of resource builder can not be protected and almost nothing returns to service provider. To make the industry of digital media service healthy, some managing mechanism must be used in the area of digital right and payment system.The real payment management system should be a real-time one. It can record the using payment just when the digital resources are being used, provide individual service to different users, and have the function for users and resource providers to search the fees. Such a digital resource management system can at one side make the users conveniently know the fee condition, and at the other side have a way for resource providers to inspect the balance of the users who use the resources them provided. In this way, digital resources can be managed better and the right of resource provider can be protected.Aimed at the new requirement of right management, the paper focus on the research and application of Digital Rights Management(DRM) and the Digital Right Expression Language(DREL). Firstly, the paper begins with the significance of DRM research, explains DRM system in details, and deeply analyses the application in DREL extension. Secondly, do the search, design and some implement of the DRM system. Digital right management is just based on the new requirement of new network development and is our future conception of the digital age.
