SolidWorks is a powerful,easy-to-use three-dimensional mechanical design software.SolidWorks provides a COM-based automation technology API function,can achieve its secondary development,improve the efficiency of mechanical design,which has important practical significance.This paper is based on Visual C++6.0 for SolidWorks Secondary Development,it use powerful features and COM technology of Visual C++6.0,Stepped shaft and a gear shaft design parameters as an example,Users can customize the parameters of shaft and gear,will generated as a dynamic link library SolidWorks software plug-ins, Transfer in the SolidWorks software interface design parameters,the provision of the relevant parameters can be automatically generated dynamic random-order ladder and gear shaft axis.Through the method,users only need to enter the relevant parameters, and the rest will automatically calculated by the procedure,the whole process need only 1-2 minutes.The system fully demonstrates the design parameters of the power and flexibility and convenience.This system of similar design parameters of important reference value.
