With the development of modern society and the advancement of computertechnology,the embedded technology has been greatly improved.The embeddedtechnology applications in all aspects of our life. Embedded technology has becomethe most popular hot technology which provides us a lot of convenience. Embeddedcomputer system which software and hardware can be cut has the advantage of highstability. This article carries out an moving image monitoring system based on theembedded Linux which the S3C2440microprocessor is chosen as the core. Thesystem realization of alarm function through the detection of moving targets andsaving the moving target images.This article first introduces the image monitoring system based on the currentsituation and development foreground, and choose the ARM processor as the core ofvideo collection equipment. It makes a general analysis and design the moving imagemonitoring system f, and select t Linux as software platform.The hardware of the system is based on S3C2440processor as the core of themini2440board. The SDRAM storage system, FLASH storage system, serial port,USB interface, JTAG interface were selected.The system Image acquisition usingUSB camera and alarm using USB audio.The software includes two parts of system software and application software. Thesystem software includes embedded system Linux development environment to build,Linux system kernel customization and transplantation, file system, makingbootloader transplantation. The application software includes the implementation ofvideo capture V4L2, moving target detection procedures to achieve and the designedand implementation of main alarm procedures. Moving target detection proceduressave the dynamic picture captured. The main alarm procedures detects this change,then broadcast the alarm sound.Finally, the system is tested and summarized.
