Content:With the continuous growth and proliferation of the web based information systems,personalization has emerged as a critical application which is essential to the success of a web site.Personalization can be defined as any action that tailors the web experience to a particular user,or set of users.The principle elements of the personalization system include modeling the web objects and subjects,matching between and across objects and subjects.This paper is directed against the question of obtaining of the user's demand information in library personalized services,discusses the basic theory of the user's demand information in library personalized services. Suggest we should investigate the library personalized services based on the analyses of the concept of personalized services and the user's demand information,and the paper also analyses the cases of personalized services,such as MyLibrary@Cornell and the personalized service of ILAS.The paper emphatically investigates the personalized services of MyLibrary@Cornell and points out the strategy to develop personalized services of digital library.Secondly,the paper analyzes reflective style and description style of user's demand information in personalized services.Finally, proposals Date Base Statistics,Web Data Mining,Feedback And Exchange Visits these ways to obtain user's demand information and gives a comparing of these three methods,provides a consult for library personalized services to build a synthesized and effective user's demand information obtain system.
