With the second period of oil-field development,we have come to realize that horizontal wells have great implications for bringing about an increase and dependable crop in almost every oil field.In addition,horizontal wells have become the irreplaceable trends in the development of oil fields through the progress in drilling technology.Under these circumstances,the mud logging company has brought forward two corresponding information systems successively and made great progress in the steering drilling techniques of horizontal wells by analyzing the parameters of gas logging and lithologic properties.However,as market share expends,the existing systems which mainly focus on clear geological structure and big strata thickness can hardly meet the need of current working situations.To play an important role in the fierce market competition and expend the market share,we are supposed to reinforce the techniques and enhance the implementation success ratio of Steering Drilling Techniques in horizontal wells.So a fresh new steering system is indispensable.The main task of this paper is to integrate the current systems and put our understanding of the mechanism of well track for horizontal wells into practice and eventually accomplish the steering system,which entirely meets the need of the mud logging company.As far as the length of the paper is concerned,we focus on one of the whole system,and the subsystem includes three modules:Well track design,well track predict and well track anti-collision.Firstly,the paper has introduced the background and significance of the research, and analyzed the current situation of mud logging software at home and abroad.Then,according to the requirement analysis for the targeted system,the paper has elaborated the whole schemes of things which include the system design idea and the final target of the system and especially,described the algorithm in great detail.At last, the paper puts the whole schemes into practice.
