With the development of science and technology, multi-sensor information fusion has been developed rapidly. It has been widely used in the modern C4ISR systems and a variety of weapons platforms, as well as much on the field of civil. The multi-sensor information fusion is to process a number of sensor information obtained by timing with computer technology. The information fusion is based on the separated sensor observation information; the goal is to create more effective information. This is the best result of synergy, and it can improve the effectiveness of the entire sensor system.Track fusion is an important application of multi-sensor information fusion technology in the military. The so-called track fusion, that is, to integrate each target's state information (position information) which scanned by a number of sensors. In the military battle system with intensive targets, the target location information which obtained through multi-sensor track fusion is more reliability compared to a single sensor, and the information is even more valuable to the entire military system.This dissertation designs and implements the track fusion system based on the embedded real-time operating system VxWorks. The function of this system is to associate and fuse the target tracks which come from multiple sensors, and finally output the fusion tracks.The work involved is: analysis and design the structure of the system, according to the system function; design track deal flow, implement track correlation algorithm, and achieve system function; test the fusion effect of the system through the analog sources of information. In addition, the design of track association flow and the track association algorithm implementation are the focus work of this dissertation.The feature of this dissertation includes:1) Design the track process flow from three different levels considering the complex military combat environment. This design can make the track association and fusion more efficient, and can get the better quality of fusion.2) Achieve different track association algorithms. This feature makes the system more flexible, thus, the system can make different choices according to different battlefield environment.
