China textile industry is facing a great competition in the world,to fight this competition an improvement to old manufacturing management style is urgently needed.Networked Manufacturing technique is a necessary tool to realize it.In the paper,web service technique is collaborated with textile manufacturing management style.This will increase the productive efficiency while the cost of corporation manage is decreased.In the paper,a new theory of software architecture was applied: Service-Oriented Architecture,and it contains web services technique, service bus technique and business process management technique.A solution for network-oriented jersey manufacturing management system was proposed,and the system is distributional,isomeric formed and loosely coupled.In the paper,concept of distribution is expended from a plant,a factory to a region.Thanks to the Internet protocol and web service technique,any functional entity in one region can be connected to the system and join the progress of manufacturing.In this solution,any child system which is based on the standard XML message can communicate to each others,this is because the web service is compatible with the different model of different system.By using web service bus,the system coupling can be decreased while the extensibility is increased.And by using the business process engine,the scattered systems can be integrated, and added into the whole business process.Base on this solution,the Jersey Networked Manufacturing Management System has been developed.The system architecture is separated into four level:resource level,integration level,business level and application level.In the resource level,manufacture resource is build and published as web service;in the integration level,integration service is developed to integrate the scattered systems;in the business level,the business process engine is used to arrange the integrated service and form the business process;in the application level,system applications faced to different users are developed,and they are combined into one web server station.In this four-leveled architecture,web services are loosely coupled to each others,and this make the system easily extended.In the paper,an example in which a customer orders for knitted sweater is executed to test the performance of Jersey Networked Manufacturing Management System..The result shows that the system is flexible,extensible and good performed in re-using resource.The Jersey Networked Manufacturing Management System is an innovation to the manufacture style of conventional textile industry.
