Design And Realization On ASP-based Fixed Asset Management And Query System

With the application and the dissemination of computer technology as well as the vigorous development of the national economic construction, every industry has continued to improve service quality and work efficiency,reduce operating costs with actively use of the up-to-date means.With the use of computer hardware and software,management information system makes procedure,analysis,plan and decision-making model by hand,and database collects, transmits, processes, preserves, maintains and uses informations. As the method and model of every case, technology, work automation and high-level management,the use of management information system is becoming more and more widespread. Government agencies are no exception,for the provincial authorities,a good management system can not only save a lot of manpower and material resources,but also improve the efficiency of institutions. More importantly, in order to develop new scheme and assist government agencies in accordance with a scripless more efficient way,a good management system can effectively grasp up-to-date informations of county or city level authorities.Fixed asset management and query system needs to realize a series of functions, such as online register, online summarizing, online query, online management, online printing of fixed asset information, based on computer network. In this paper, systematic analysis and research are made for fixed assets management system based on the demands of fixed asset management and query system network-operating. The design philosophy,flow chart and functioning structure of the whole system are proposed based on aims of the systems. Then the analysis and research are made for each functional module of the system.The data and data structure used by the various components of system are designed,based on the functional design and modules division of the system. According to the database requirement analysis,data tables are created. Then back-end database is configured, each subsystem page frame of the system is designed and the database connection is accomplished.Finally, unit testing is made for each modules.Using the technology of ASP as the future development of technology,SQL Server 2000 database as a background,theoretical basis is provided for the enablement of fixed asset management and query system. Based on above research results, fixed asset management and query system is realized. By means of a favorable user interface,authorized user can directly login to the government fixed assets inquiry system website. Authorized user can query and summary the information of fixed assets belong to the county-level units, the authorized staff can log on the site, timely updates and registers information of the unit's fixed assets. According to the different requirements of authorized users,the system has achieved a series of function,such as query classification,summarizing by selecting region and the types of fixed asset, as well as online printing.
